I love experimentation and trying to work out as I go along, a spontaneous and somtimes frustrating approach which allows something else to come through, perhaps some feeling or mood which can often be surprising. Letting the process lead me helps this other to emerge, and allows me to follow whatever arises as I work.
Since 2020 I’ve been focsussing on developing my art skills, alongaside the teaching work I do for the Royal School of Needlework.

Tambour Embroidery
I taught tambour embroidery for the Royal School of Needlework from 2013 to 2019, and I’ve run workshops in this technique for embroiderers’ groups around the country. I have no further teaching for this technique planned, but you can learn a lot from the series of Tambour videos hosted on Sarah Homfray’s channel.
